OPTIONS CUC PAYMENT

All utility bills are mailed or submitted electronically on the last working day of the month, and are always due on or before the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a weekend, payments are due the following business day.  If you do not receive your bill, please contact our office to verify the amount that needs to be paid on your account by that time to avoid fees.  A penalty is applied and late notices are mailed the next business day after the due date, and those are due before the 21st, when the disconnect process begins.

ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THE ABOVE DATES AND THAT NOT RECEIVING A BILL AND/OR LATE NOTICE DOES NOT JUSTIFY NON-PAYMENT!

ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT:  Cash, Check, Debit/Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), Bank Draft.  CUC DOES NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS OR ELECTRONIC CHECK!

To make the payment process easier for our customers, CUC offers several forms of payment other than the USPS mail system.  You can set up your account through our web payment portal on our website to view electronic bills and/or make payments using Mastercard, Visa or Discover.  Once you complete the set-up process, please contact our office so that we can activate your account to use electronic statements and bill pay.  If you are trying to process a payment 24-48 hours before the 15th, please call our office to make your payment over the phone during normal business hours as it takes a couple of days for those payments to settle online and process through our system.  Do not use any other website but www.corbinutilities.com to pay your bill!   

You can always pay your bill in person at our office on Cumberland Falls Highway during business hours of Monday-Friday 8 am to 4 pm.  After hours, there is a night deposit box beside the drive-thru window for your convenience.

FREE AUTOMATIC BANK DRAFT – If you want to make sure you AVOID MISSED PAYMENTS and having to pay fees, CUC offers FREE automatic bank draft to its customers.  Those payments are submitted to your checking account on the 15th of every month.  Please come by our office with a blank voided check to fill out an authorization so that we can get you started on this convenient form of payment.

Most banks offer online bill payment services through their websites.  Please check with your bank for details.  Those payments are mailed to our address: CITY UTILITIES COMMISSION, PO BOX 1350, CORBIN, KY 40702.

Remember to include your payment stub with any in-person or mailed payments.  If you use your bank’s website, the account number and address you enter should be printed on the check.

UCARD UTILITY ASSISTANCE: It has come to our attention that some customers may receive utility assistance through UCard from United Healthcare.  Due to the fact that these cards are not Mastercard, Visa, or Discover format then we cannot process those cards at our office.  However, you can pay your bill through the 800 number that is provided on the back of your card, the Bill Pay option on their website https://www.uhc.com/ or through their app, or take your card along with your utility bill to your local Walmart Customer Service Desk for assistance.  You will have to provide information that is on your utility bill so please have that with you.  Keep in mind that it could take at least two weeks for us to receive payment so if you wait until the last minute then your account could be disconnected for non-payment and other fees will apply.

HELP THE ENVIRONMENT! Set up Paperless Billing for your utility account today!! Once you set up your online account, call us at (606) 528-4026 to access this feature so that you can view and/or print your bills from your online account. You are more than welcome to pay your bill online as well….but YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ONLINE TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE! Please contact us if you have any questions.  

NEW SERVICE REQUIREMENTS: All utility services for residential rentals will require verification either by bringing a copy of your lease with you when you set up services or by landlord confirmation that the resident has the authority to connect new service or change services to the resident’s name.
