CUC PAYMENT OPTIONS as of 7/31/2025
All utility bills are mailed or submitted electronically on the last working day of the month and are always due on or before the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a weekend, payments are due the following business day. If you do not receive your bill, please call the new automated phone system or our office to verify the amount due on your account to avoid late fees. A penalty is applied, and a late notice is mailed the next business day after the due date. Those are due before the 21st, when the disconnect process begins.
ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THE ABOVE DATES AND THAT NOT RECEIVING A BILL AND/OR LATE NOTICE DOES NOT JUSTIFY NON-PAYMENT!
ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT: Cash, Check, Debit/Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), Bank Draft, Debit/Credit Card Auto Pay, and eCheck.
To provide better service and make the payment process easier for our customers, CUC offers several forms of payment other than the USPS mail system.
ONLINE PAYMENTS – From our website, click on the Pay Your Bill Online link which will direct you to our Web Payment Portal. NEW – you can now set up your card online for automatic payments, and a Quick Pay option is now available. Do not use any other website but corbin.utilitydistrict.com to pay your bill! Once you set up an online account in the Web Portal, you can also view and print your bill and account history, as well as view your usage.
NEW AUTOMATED PHONE SYSTEM – You can now access your balance and pay your bill using our NEW automated phone system at (833) 530-5255. Please have your account number, with all leading zeros, ready.
FREE AUTOMATIC BANK DRAFT – Do you want to AVOID LATE / MISSED PAYMENTS and having to pay fees? CUC offers FREE automatic bank draft to its customers. Payments are submitted to your checking account on the 15th of each month. Please come by our office with a blank voided check, fill out an authorization card, and we can get you started on this convenient form of payment.
FREE DEBIT/CREDIT CARD AUTO PAY – You can also AVOID LATE / MISSED PAYMENTS by accessing our online web portal to sign up for auto debit/credit card payments. Those payments are submitted on the 15th of each month as well.
Most banks offer online bill payment services through their websites. Please check with your bank for details. Those payments are mailed to our address: CITY UTILITIES COMMISSION, PO BOX 1350, CORBIN, KY 40702. The account number and address should be printed on the checks.
You can always pay your bill in person at our office at 1515 Cumberland Falls Highway during business hours of Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. After hours, there is a night deposit box beside the drive-thru window for your convenience. Always include your payment stub with in-person or mailed payments.

UCARD UTILITY ASSISTANCE: It has come to our attention that some customers may receive utility assistance through UCard from United Healthcare. Due to the fact that these cards are not Mastercard, Visa, or Discover format then we cannot process those cards at our office. However, you can pay your bill through the 800 number that is provided on the back of your card, the Bill Pay option on their website https://www.uhc.com/ or through their app, or take your card along with your utility bill to your local Walmart Customer Service Desk for assistance. You will have to provide information that is on your utility bill so please have that with you. Keep in mind that it could take at least two weeks for us to receive payment so if you wait until the last minute then your account could be disconnected for non-payment and other fees will apply.

HELP THE ENVIRONMENT! Set up Paperless Billing for your utility account today!! Once you set up your online account, call us at (606) 528-4026 to access this feature so that you can view and/or print your bills from your online account. You are more than welcome to pay your bill online as well….but YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ONLINE TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE! Please contact us if you have any questions.
NEW SERVICE REQUIREMENTS: All utility services for residential rentals will require verification either by bringing a copy of your lease with you when you set up services or by landlord confirmation that the resident has the authority to connect new service or change services to the resident’s name.
